Children & Youth

The greatest need of any generation is to know Jesus as God: Lord and Saviour and Friend.  While the Bible makes clear that primary responsibility for teaching children about Jesus lies with their parents, children’s ministries can be a real support to families who are seeking to honour God.  If you have the gifts and the desire to share Jesus with children and young people, why not consider getting stuck into one of these areas?

Crèche
Give parents the chance to be spiritually fed on a Sunday morning by looking after their youngest ones, or on Thursday morning at the women’s Bible study.

Sunday morning children’s work (ages 3-11)
From Jets to Minis to Explorers, help primary-school aged children to grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus, and encourage them to live for him at home, at school, and everywhere else they find themselves.

Young people (ages 11-18)
Join the Pathfinders on a Sunday morning, Plattform on a Sunday evening or Rock Solid on a Wednesday evening, and enjoy cake-fuelled discipling of tweenagers and teenagers for God’s glory.

School Christian Unions
Join Platt’s youth and schools worker, Sarah Bradley, as she heads into local schools to encourage the young Christians to love Jesus and to shine as lights illuminating him.
