Matthew’s gospel — his version of the good news — is all about Jesus.  Specifically, it’s all about Jesus as king: glorious king of all peoples, and the rescuer-king that God had promised through the Old Testament.

It’s good news for you if you’ve been walking with Jesus for a while: you’ll see afresh Jesus’ amazing value and be stirred to magnify him every day.

It’s good news for you if you’re a new Christian: you’ll hear Jesus’ own words as Matthew recorded them and learn what matters to your new king.

It’s good news for you if you’re struggling with sin: you’ll be brought back to the cross, where Jesus dealt with our rebellion, and learn to trust your saviour.

It’s good news for you if you’re not sure where you stand with Jesus: through his word, you will meet him, the living God.

It’s good news for you whoever you are.  You don’t want to miss it.

Wholehearted for Jesus is this term’s Student Bible Study (SBS) series at Platt church.  We kick off on September 24th at 7pm in the church hall with a free meal and a look at Matthew 10.
